Dewey's Readathon - Preparations

Hello again, dear readers,
today I am here with my TBR list for Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon, which is happening on next Saturday 29th April. I am so glad I'll have a chance to participate this time around, for I remember I was really upset last year when I had to go to work for whole weekend, and therefore missed the event. Truth be told, reading is basically all I do during my weekends so next Saturday won't be all that different to the others, but there's just something about knowing that people all around the world are reading along with me that makes this particular weekend special. It surely gets me excited about reading even more. Also, I feel like this upcoming week will be quite challenging in terms of work, so I'm sure it'll be nice to have something to look forward to at the end of it...

I've been thinking for some time now about what books to choose for this occasion, and I am quite happy with my finished TBR pile. First of all I'll be reading Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin which is a classic novel about an American man living in Paris. I was given this book from Everyman's Library publishing house last year. And I am really looking forward to finally read it. Then I choose War Horse by Michael Morpurgo, which could be considered as a children classic, I guess. I am super excited about this one, too. I got it in a beautiful edition with a new cover design, which I absolutely love. I am also planning on watching the movie after finishing it as to get a nice reading break. The next book is Attachments by Rainbow Rowell, which is actually the only book by her I still haven't read. I am expecting it to be just as lovely and cute as all her other books, so I simply can't wait to read it. And lastly, in case I could still find some time, I would love to read Dear Nobody by Berlie Doherty, which is a book I want to go in without knowing anything about it. So I can't tell you what's it about, but I have a feeling that it's going to be great...

So there you have it. These are the books I will be reading next weekend from 2pm on Saturday to 2pm on Sunday. I'll be updating my reading progress here on my blog and also on instagram, so stay tuned in case you're interested. And definitely let me know if you're about to join in as well. I would like to know what books are on your TBR list...

:) Takže tyhle dvě by pokryly můj TBR list :)
Měj se moc krásně, užij si to a já budu s nadšením sledovat tvůj progress <3

Měj se moc krásně a ještě jednou děkuju. :-)
