Cozy at Home

Happy weekend everyone,
I'm here today with just a few photos that I've taken around the house recently. I'm living for the autumnal weather that has come upon us lately. In order to celebrate all the glory of this season, I've been baking pretty much every day and I also made a wreath for our living room wall. The atmosphere of October fills my soul with so much pleasure. I absolutely cannot wait for my library to be done, so I can decorate it for fall and enjoy long reading evenings there. I apologize for my talking about it nonstop, but - as Anne of Green Gables once said - 'Looking forward to things is half the pleasure of them." And boy, am I looking forward to it. It's taking far longer than we've expected, but it's a very big project, so we shouldn't be that surprised, really. We do everything ourselves and as we still have to go to work and attend to various other things it's not always easy. However, the bookshelves are all done, so now we just have to do the works on the room itself. I'm so excited for you all to see it. But it probably won't be until I had a chance to live in the room for a while before I show you. I just feel like I need some time for settling in. In regards of reading, I definitely jumped on the vagon of fantasy, which is perfect for this season. At the beginning of the this month, I picked up Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, but because I've had issues with my eyes again, I put it down and listened to a bunch of audiobooks instead. I'm planning on finishing Carry On as soon as possible, though. Currently, I am listening to an audiobook called Frost by M. P. Kozlowsky. It's really good and, although it's very unique, it sort of reminds me of The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness, which is one of my favourite dystopian reads. So if like that book, too, I'd recommend you check the Frost out. The plot is very different but it has the same feel to it. I cannot wait to see how the story is going to wrap up...

Let me know what have you been up to lately and what books make you company these days. I cannot wait to hear from you...
